HE the Minister of Communications and Information Technology holds a series of high-level meetings to enhance regional digital cooperation.
H.E Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held a series of bilateral meetings today with a number of government officials from various countries. The meetings aimed to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation in the field of telecommunications and information technology, as well as to exchange expertise and knowledge on the latest developments in this vital sector.
The discussions included meetings with H.E. Mr. Abdul Razzaq Natsheh, Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and H.E. Mr. Radwan Abdillahi Bahdon, Minister of Communication, responsible for Posts and Telecommunications of Republic of Djibouti.
During the meetings, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai presented Qatar's efforts for digital transformation, emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in technological innovation, smart digital solutions, and digital infrastructure. He also highlighted the initiatives and projects being implemented by Qatar to promote this transformation, aimed at building a thriving digital economy and improving the quality of life for citizens and residents.
The meetings also explored ways to foster cooperation to develop innovative initiatives that support the digital transformation efforts in the participating countries, with a focus on developing technological capabilities and supporting systems for telecommunications and information technology. These meetings reaffirmed Qatar's strong commitment to enhancing regional and international partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals through technology and reaffirm Qatar's position as a regional hub for digital innovation.
