The Ministry of Transport and Communications has conducted a control and awareness campaign on maritime vessels and sea ports to ensure all the country’s COVID19 preventive and precautionary measures are in place.

Responsible professionals from the Ministry verified sea ports’ compliance with the instructions and measures to combat the spread of the virus, in addition to inspecting to what extent helmsmen and users of all types of maritime vessels follow these instructions. They also delivered more of such recommendations and awareness to helmsmen and workers of sea ports.  

The campaign is part of MOTC’s support for the concerted effort nationwide to put in place all measures and procedures to stop the spread of the virus.
