Qatar participates in the 51st meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for ICT in Oman

The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), declared its participation in the 51st meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Communications and Information Technology, which took place in the Sultanate of Oman. The State was represented by a distinguished delegation led by Mr. Hassan Jassim Al Sayed, the Minister's Advisor at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The meeting brought together delegates from various Arab countries and regional organizations with the goal of fostering collaboration and addressing advancements in the telecommunications and information sector within the Arab region.

The meeting revolved around multiple subjects, which encompassed the Arab strategy for communications and information, Arab collaboration with regional groups and organizations, satellite communications technology, and the Arab initiative for internet governance and cybersecurity.
