The Italian Embassy in Qatar, in the presence of the Qatari Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Studio 5/6, held an event entitled "Italian Republic Children's Day", at the Hotel "Marsa Malaz Kempinski" in Doha.

The event was scheduled following last month's official celebrations on Italian Republic Day. The objective of the event was an expression of the robustness of the relationship and the strengthening of the Republic of Italy's friendship with Qatari society. The event included the participation of junior jury members at the Doha Film Institute. Thanks to the support of the MCIT in Qatar, represented by Studio 5/6, the event focused on the theme “Technology and Culture”, which provided an opportunity for participants from young age groups to explore what is offered in the fields of technology and innovation. 

For her part, Ms. Duha Al-Buhendi, Director of Digital Community Management and Competencies at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, said: "Today, the magic of technology combines with paving the way for a future of innovation, creativity and common international relations. This cooperation between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar and the Italian Embassy demonstrates our commitment to nurturing bright young minds and promoting cultural exchange in the State of Qatar".

For "Studio 5/6", it is a digital manufacturing plant created by the MCIT, which aims to care for children and young people in Qatar by developing their scientific skills in the digital age environment. As a community platform, Studio 5/6 also provides the latest technology and practical experiences, enhancing problem solving skills, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Studio 5/6 aims to empower and inspire the next generation to become a future technology industry.
