It is my pleasure to extend my greetings to HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, the Father Amir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, and the honorable Qatari nation, on the occasion of the National Day.

On this national occasion, I pray to God to grant our country prosperity, security, and stability, hoping that the State of Qatar will achieve more in all fields. 

The National Day our country celebrates on the 18th of December every year embodies the connotations, values, and principles that the Qatari nation cherishes. It is an occasion to emphasize the importance of loyalty and unity among all people of the same country.

This year's slogan for the National Day (Our Unity Source of Our Strength) embodies all the noble and sincere meanings that reflect the secret of our country's development. The success of the development journey witnessed by the State of Qatar lies in our solidarity, as we stand together proud of our identity and rich history. Following the path of the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani (may God rest his soul in peace), we bear the responsibility of protecting the country. We renew the pledge to serve our dear homeland, maintain its position among developed countries, and reinforce the values of loyalty and allegiance towards our wise leadership.

On such an occasion, we must be proud that God has gifted the State of Qatar with wise leaders who have been loyal to their country and their citizens since the era of the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani (may God rest his soul in peace). Since then, and until now under the wise leadership of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, our country has witnessed one achievement after the other. Our blessed journey embraces the success rooted in our values and principles, which helped us achieve sustainable development. 

The coincidence of our country's celebrations of the National Day in December with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is an appropriate opportunity to introduce the whole world to our country's culture, rich heritage, and noble values. The World Cup event will make Qatar the focus of the world's attention, and thus everyone will know about our achievements and the development that our country is witnessing.

With the celebration of the National Day this year, we celebrate all the achievements we accomplished over the past year. It is also an occasion to confirm that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is working hard to enhance the ICT sector in Qatar under the directives of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, and the instructions of HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as per the strategy that achieves Qatar National Vision 2030.

Last but not least, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for all his support in developing the country's sectors and achieving Qatar National Vision. I wish our country and the people of Qatar a lifetime of welfare, prosperity, and safety.
