Arabic Translation of Internet Content Accessibility Launched

Doha, Qatar

Qatar Assistive Technology Center (Mada) has launched the certified Arabic translation of the Principles of Internet Content Accessibility (WCAG) 2.1, in effective partnership with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

The Web Content Accessibility Principles (WCAG) 2.1 cover a broad set of recommendations aimed at increasing the accessibility of web content.

This achievement will serve all Arabic-speaking organizations, companies, governments, professionals, web developers and content makers from various sectors, as their adoption of these principles will help develop platforms and create digital content in a way that is accessible to all.
